Rolling Coal – Crazyhorse 2000HP Turbo Diesel Pickup

April 21st, 2022

Nathan Wheeler brought his 2000HP all-wheel drive Ford F-150 diesel pickup out to Yello Belly Dragstrip in Grand Prairie, Texas for a smoke session. We get to take an up-close look at the truck and see how Nathan handles the competition.

Crazyhorse is powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel engine being force fed copious amounts of air by an 88-millimeter turbocharger. On the inside, this engine abounds with bulletproof aftermarket components. On the outside, the chrome is blinding. The transmission is a Ford 4R. The transfer case and axles are stock, as are the ECM and wiring harness. Crazyhorse will also be running four kits of nitrous this evening.

In the first round, Nathan draws noted drag racer Brent Self in his killer pro mod Camaro. Even by Yello Belly standards, this was a wild one. Brent came out of the hole and took the early advantage. He remained out front through the midway point when the car veered sharply to the right. When Brent corrected, the car darted towards the center line and Crazyhorse. Veteran driver Brent Self pulled himself out of the slop by popping the chute and nailing the accelerator. Sure enough, the car lurched forward and straightened out. Camaro FTW.

Fret not, Crazyhorse is buying himself back into multiple classes and the quest continues.

Nathan draws a Chevy S10 for the next round. Crazyhorse should dominate this one and put on a smoke show to boot.
