They call Missouri (Mexico) the “Show Me State” and they are sure showing off some wild rides in this video. This clip features both dig and roll racing and showcases competitors from all the big three (Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Ford) domestic automakers.
It all begins with dig racing and our videographer in the passenger seat of a souped-up ‘Vette. It has a 408-cubic inch, small block, LS engine with a Vortech YSi supercharger, an RPM transmission, and an RPM rear differential. This Chevy lines up against a Roush Mustang and what ensues is one of the closest dig contests that one could imagine.
As if that wasn’t enough, there is also a Procharged Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 against a classic Dodge Dart with a genuine Richard Petty NASCAR (2009) mill between the fenders. It takes multiple dig passes for these two to work out their angst and decide who will be crowned the winner.
After all that – and a heckuva lot more – these Missourians take to the interstate for some lively roll racing action. The Roush Mustang and the Corvette have another go at it and there is tons of other action. Check it out for yourself!
