Porsche 911 Turbo vs. Godzilla R33

To be fully transparent, there are a pair of terribly capable Porsche entries in this video. They are tasked with taking on some boisterous JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars that have also been modified for the purpose of roll racing. It’s gonna get messy, but it’s gonna be good.

First up is Richard. He is in his 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S. It has a Speed by Design Stage 4 Turbo Kit that includes extensive upgrades throughout the turbocharger system. Maximum output is estimated to be in the 750hp to 800hp range and the car has turned a best elapsed time of 9.5-seconds in the quarter mile. It is a beautiful shade of silver.

Today, he is taking on a pair of fast two-wheelers, including a radically modified Kawasaki ZX10R. It’s hard to compete with bikes. That’s especially true when they are spraying nitrous. As advertised, they eclipse the pretty Porsche in every pass.

On the Japanese side; Nate has brought his 1994 Lexus SC300. Not your run-of-the-mill luxury coupe, this Lexus comes equipped with a built (Manley rods and Wiseco pistons) 1.5JZ (Toyota) engine with an upgraded cylinder head and camshafts. The turbocharger is a Borg-Warner unit. I don’t know what occurred, but he got eaten up by the silver Porsche. Ugly.

Now, we have the 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R (built by HP Logic). It has a 2.9-liter stroker motor, HKS turbos and a PPG sequential gearbox.

The Real Street Performance (black) Porsche is a 2008 911 Turbo. It is modified with an Alpha 9 turbo kit from AMS. It lives on MS109 fuel and has posted a best elapsed time of 10.5-seconds (@138 mph) in the quarter mile.

These two are about to lock horns in the bakery. Check out the video and see who has the best rolls.
