Nissan GT-R HKS GT570 on the Dyno makes 572 HP and 606 ft-lb torque

October 18th, 2008

SP Engineering recently installed the HKS GT570 kit on a new 2009 Nissan GT-R and the results are very impressive. The HKS GT570 kit consists of the following bolt on parts:

HKS aluminium hard pipe kit for R35 GT-R
HKS silicon hose joiners
HKS wastegate actuators for standard R35 GT-R turbos
HKS Electronic Valve Controller (EVC) boost controller
HKS dump and front pipes (delete all catalytic converters)

SP said they also reprogrammed the EVC with the HKS Easy Writer software. Their baseline GTR dyno was 426 horsepower and 411 ft-lbs of torque, after installing the kit and running at 1.2 Bar (17.4 psi) this monster Nissan GT-R put down an astounding 572 horsepower and 606 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno. That’s an increase of 146 horsepower and 195 ft-lbs of torque. Using a conservative 15% driveline loss, this GT-R is making 672 HP and 712 ft-lbs of toque at the crank.

Hopefully they will put this GT-R on the drag strip for some numbers, we would easily expect mid 10’s at well over 130 MPH given it’s power output. Check out the dyno graph, pictures and video by clicking on the image below:
