This is single elimination dig racing with the top four places finishing in the money. Don’t cut the light early. Don’t cross the center-line. Get from point A to point B before the guy in the other lane and you advance to the next round. Simple right? If it were everybody would be doing it.
Here are some of the competitors:
- A Nissan 300ZX (800whp) 3.0-liter V6 with a kit (100hp) of nitrous and a powerglide transmission
- A big block (454) powered Chevy Malibu that uses a Procharger (16 psi of boost) to provide some serious twist to the back tires. This car is a work in progress and has some drivetrain/traction issues to work out
- The C6 Corvette is running a stock bottom end with a cylinder head(s) and camshaft upgrade from Corsa Performance and a 150hp shot of nitrous
- Then there’s the vintage “show-truck.” It is a fantastic looking long-bed Chevrolet C-10 with a small block engine and a massive blower. If that ain’t enough, it is also equipped with a single kit of nitrous (150hp)
- The Orange Supra (1300+hp) is outfitted with a 3.4-liter (inline 6-cylinder) engine and a Garrett GTX 5518 turbocharger
