McLaren just released the official specifications for their McLaren 675LT, a track focused car that drops 200 pounds of weight and adds power to it’s 3.8L V8 Twin Turbo engine.  With updated internals and revised turbochargers on the 3.8L V8,  the 675LT makes 666HP @ 7,100 RPM.  Also updated was the 7 speed SSG transmission using F1 derived ignition cut technology allowing for even faster gear changes and less drop in power.

Performance specs are listed at 0-60 MPH in 2.8 seconds, 0-100 MPH in 5.5 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 10.4 @ 142 MPH.  Since we’ve gone 10.2 @ 135 MPH in the older, heavier and less powerful MP4-12C, we can see the new 675LT running in the 9’s with proper weather, tires and track conditions.  Check out the video from McLaren below and a link to the complete list of specs:
