The title says it all, we came across this video of a McLaren MP4-12C walking by a Lamborghini Aventador in 1/2 Mile Race down an airstrip.   While the numbers on paper (horsepower to weight ratios) have always favored the lighter MP4-12C vs the Aventador  this is the first time we’ve seen the two in action side by side with a good camera view.

From what looks like a 20 MPH roll all the way up to around 170 MPH at the 1/2 mile mark the McLaren has around a 3 car lead.

For reference we ran 10.5 @ 134.5 MPH in the 1/4 mile with the McLaren MP4-12C in our tests.
