We just got in the first 1/4 mile times in for the a new McLaren 570S running at a private rental at Atco Raceway, NJ and the results are impressive.   In completely stock form including OEM tires, the McLaren 570S ran a best time of 10.27 @ 135 MPH with a few other passes in the 10.4 – 10.5 range.

While the 570S shares the same 3.8L V8 Twin Turbo engine as the more expensive 650S, it’s making 80 less HP  than the 650S as per the specifications from McLaren, however, with these 1/4 mile results that is clearly not the case.  Our best time for the 650S so far was 10.30 @ 137.4 MPH and 10.271 @ 135.5 MPH with the MP4-12C (with Toyo R88 tires).   So just how much power is the 570S making?  We’ve see a few posts of tuners getting the 570S on the dyno so we expect some comparisons very soon.
