Hot off the presses! Here is a first look at the latest and greatest new Italian supercar – projected for introduction later this year in Paris or Geneva (Auto Shows). This is the 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera taming the historic track at Nurburgring. When the experts really want to know what a car is capable of, they turn to this grueling 3.199-mile track that legendary F1 racer Jackie Stewart nicknamed “the Green Hell”.

The 2018 Huracan Superleggera (meaning “super light”) seems up to the task with typical Lamborghini handling and performance. The Superleggera version is approximately 220-pounds lighter than the standard Huracan, primarily due to the drivetrain configuration. The Superleggera is rear-wheel drive and has a slightly (10-20hp) more powerful engine. That means that it will be packing a 620 to 630hp punch.
