Japanese Muscle – EVO X vs GT-R vs 800HP Honda

January 8th, 2020

Greetings racing fans. This video is taking it to the track for some high-end import action (with a little domestic sprinkled in). The venue is Florida’s sunny Palm Beach International Raceway and the competition is diverse. Sure, there are tons of fast Japanese entries – with two and four wheels – but there are also some European and American hot rods in the field. Check it out.

Lee is her in his 900hp EVO X. This is a car prepared by Machines Gone Wild. It has a built motor, a big turbo and the best of everything else. Lee is looking to race everybody (at least once) today.

First up, he’ll be taking on a fierce Nissan GT-R. It features a Spool Imports 2.9-liter stroker motor with a stock (ported) cylinder head and a Nismo plenum. Fuel injectors are oversize and the ECU is a Haltech. This is a tight race from start to finish. The EVO takes the advantage and holds it throughout.

Next up is an ugly duckling of an 800hp Honda Civic. It has a built motor and an S369 turbo from Borg Warner. Honestly, the Honda gets eaten up pretty quickly.

Then there’s the two-wheeled BMW. This S1000 RR makes 190hp using a DynoJet Power Commander with a fuel module and an Austin Racing GP exhaust system. Tires and brakes have been upgraded as well. As one might expect, the motorcycle runs away with the show.

Lots more racing action here. Have a look.
