HEMI Power – 1200HP All-Motor Plymouth Road Runner

July 16th, 2021

Beep! Beep! Be on the lookout for the Pro Street style Road Runner known as BRDFLEW. With a menacing silhouette and the stance of a disgruntled bully, this Plymouth is packing some serious ponies – without the aid of forced air induction.

When the custom roll-off front clip is lifted, Shawn from Autotopia discovers that BRDFLEW is powered by an all-aluminum Keith Black 572 cubic-inch HEMI engine. The engine alone is capable of producing 950hp. Add a 200hp shot of nitrous and you have a street car that is absolutely mind numbing. The transmission is a 3-speed Torqueflite and the rear end is a beefed up Dana 60.

WIlwood disc brakes adorn all four corners and a beefy set of drag slicks engulf the fat rear wheels. This stunning vintage Mopar has posted a best elapsed time of 8.8-seconds in the quarter-mile.

All that’s left to do is seek out Wile E. Coyote and have a bit of fun on the streets (of Mexico, naturally).
