December 31st, 2019

What’s the difference between a Dodge Viper and a Chevrolet Corvette? When it comes down to a head-to-head race, which of theses two iconic supercars would perform the best?

This clip gives us the answer to this question – at least when it comes to roll racing. These two sports car enthusiasts take a trip down to Mexico for some street hits on the highway. Once and for all, we get to see which car is king.

The C7 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a supercharged V8 engine. The 6.2-liter motor is topped with a 1.7-liter Eaton roots-type blower to produced 650hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The car weighs in at 3,347-pounds and has been treated to an intake manifold upgrade.

Under the hood of the Dodge Viper is a naturally aspirated, all-aluminum, 8.4-liter V10 engine. The giant SRT mill is capable of producing 645hp. It has a curb weight of 3,354-pounds and has been modified with high-performance exhaust and an aftermarket performance ECU.

It’s time to go racing! In multiple hits, the Dodge seems to be the bigger car. Take a look for yourself.
