Add a 949-horsepower 6.3-liter V12 hybrid-engine configuration, an autoshift manual transmission with overdrive, and a massive set of 345/30YR20 speed-rated rear tires and you are ready for take-off.

veyronThe Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport enlists the aid of a Turbo-quad W16-cylinder 8.0-liter engine to send 1200-horsepower through a 7-speed dual-clutch automated transmission and to all-four wheels. It has a list price of $2.7-million and a set of tires will cost you $42k.

The Ferrari seems to pull ahead at the quarter-mile but you can bet that the Bugatti will come on very strong around the 1-mile mark.
