Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Launch Control Demo and 1/4-Mile Drag Racing Run

Take a gander at this Ferrari F12 Berlinetta as it puts down an 11.20-second run at 129 mph. I might mention that it also looks great doing so. It should, with a price tag of just under $325,000 U.S. dollars, it should almost come with its own drag strip. As you can tell, it would not take a lot of racing prowess to get this car down into the 10-second range; maybe even better.

The motivating force for this Italian beauty is a 6.3-liter V12 engine that sends 730-horsepower through a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission and to the rear-wheels. Although it can hold its own at the dragstrip, this car is better suited for the road course with its low center of gravity, double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension, and “Z” rated tires.
