ETS Evo X – Dual World Record Pass

December 20th, 2017

Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) and English Racing have collaborated on some amazing projects in the past and will undoubtedly continue to shock the world with their high-powered all-wheel drive turbo cars.

World Record breaking Nissan GT-R passes have become a regular occurrence for this team but this clip features a horse of a different color (so to speak).

This record buster is of the Diamond Star Motors (DSM) variety. It is an all-wheel drive creation and it is called an Evolution X (ten).

It all begins with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has been built with aluminum connecting rods. Unfortunately, all that can go in the toilet quickly as this crew discovered. After the first night of qualifying, the guys had to change the engine out before the next round. With a little improvisation they got it done in a few hours and got right back on schedule; running consistent mid 8-second elapsed times.

There is also a pass in which two different world records were broken. Reports suggest that this Evo is the quickest quarter-miler of its kind and has the baddest 67-millimeter turbocharger on the planet.
