Dodge Viper SRT-10 vs. Corvette ZR1 – Track Battle

December 17th, 2019

Today’s video features more than just a race – it is a series of contests to determine the Ultimate American Supercar. This battle between Chevy and Dodge has been raging since the 60s but the modern cars you’ll see in this clip are the best-of-the-best from each of these two prestigious car lines.

King of the Mopar camp, the Dodge Viper SRT-10 uses a naturally aspirated 8.4-liter V10 engine to produce 600hp. The car weighs in at 3454-pounds. Likewise, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 represents the entire GM lineage. It has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes 638hp and weighs 3333-pounds.

This battle consists of a 0 to 60 contest, followed by a 0 to 100 to 0 mph contest, then a standing (head-to-head) mile and finally a timed attack on a one-mile road course. This is going to be good! Check it out.
