Daddy Caddy – 1000HP CTS-V

Now, this is the way to race. Beautiful leather dash and door panels, plush leather seating, state-of-the-art audio, ice cold air conditioning, power steering and more than 1000hp. It’s even quiet inside! What’s not to love about this mind-blowing Cadillac CTS-V Sedan?

The big supercharged 6.2-liter V8 sounds stock from the passenger seat. Wonder what is looks like under the hood.

Well, the bottom end is built with a set of Wiseco pistons, K1 connecting rods, a factory forged crankshaft, a “Daddy Caddy” custom ground camshaft from GPI, and a C5R timing chain. The top end consists of a pair of CNC ported LS3 cylinder heads with Brian Tooley valvetrain components. ARP cylinder head studs, main bearing cap studs and connecting rod studs hold everything together. The blower is a CNC ported LSA piece with a Nitrous Outlet spray bar setup. The upper and lower pulleys have both been upgraded. The intake and exhaust have been opened up and that schweet sound is coming courtesy of Borla mufflers. The entire driveline is custom, and it is heavy-duty. There is an auxiliary fuel system and a set of oversize fuel injectors to accommodate the extra air and nitrous. The car is currently tuned using the factory ECU and it is riding on the factory suspension.
