So, whadda ya’ get when you cross a 700hp Corvette ZR1 with a McLaren 570S? How about an uncontrollable desire to see which one is faster? Lining up these two beautiful examples of automotive engineering seems as natural birds and bees. The test of the night is roll racing from the highways of Mexico. There are a pack of rabid ‘Vettes on hand, several modified Mustangs, a high-powered Cadillac CTS-V and – don’t forget – the exotic McLaren. This is going to be a hoot!

The action heats up with a 700hp ZR1 (supercharged 6.2-liter) on the left and a Cadillac CTS-V (supercharged 6.2-liter with cylinder heads and camshaft upgraded) on the right. Surprisingly, the Caddy gets the early jump and gaps the ‘Vette handily.

After several ZR1 on ZR1 hits and a Corvette on Paxton Mustang massacre, the 700hp Corvette finally lines up against the McLaren 570S. These two cars look great in action and they sound even better. In the spirit of Paul Revere, the ZR1 jumps out on the 570 as the cameraman watches him walk away.
