Ferrari 488 GTB Dyno Test

May 11th, 2016

Sure, they look and sound impressive, but did you ever wonder what kind of numbers a high-performance supercar would put up on the dyno? Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, or Ferrari; they all draw our attention and spark our imagination but few of us can dream of owning one. Nevertheless, my curiosity is aroused whenever I consider interjecting such an automobile into a street racing scenario. Anyways, check out the dyno test. This is a stock Ferrari 488 GTB with a 3.9-liter V8 with a dual-clutch 7-speed automated manual transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3-seconds flat and Read More

Roll Racing – TT Lamborghini Goes 213 MPH

May 2nd, 2016

This car bears the moniker ‘MULLET’ after the owner/driver’s hairstyle. This particular hairstyle is often described as ‘business in the front – party in the back’. Well, this Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera must save the party for the street because on the strip (during this TX2K event) it was all about business. There are multiple 200+ mph passes. As impressive as a stock Superleggera is, you’ll never squeeze 213 mph out of it in the half-mile. This car has been modified with an Underground Racing Twin Turbo Package. The package includes twin billet Precision 62-millimeter turbochargers with Tial wastegates and Read More

McLaren 675LT vs Lamborghini Huracan at the Drag Strip for some heads up 1/4 Mile Racing

May 1st, 2016

We have some video and time slip data from ToTheFloor of the first real world 1/4 mile run by the new McLaren 675LT that just happens to making it’s first pass vs a Lamborghini Huracan at Palm Beach International Raceway. The McLaren 675LT drops some weight from the standard 650S, weighing in at around 3,000 pounds and adds power as well, making 666HP from it’s 3.8L V8 Twin Turbocharged engine.   These stats tower over the Huracan’s 3,400 pounds and naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 making 610HP.   The only advantage the Huracan has during a 1/4 mile race it’s it’s all wheel Read More

Lamborghini Huracan Twin Turbo Bolt-on Kit runs 9 Flat in the 1/4 Mile

April 15th, 2016

Lamborghini Huracans have been moving very “quick” lately as the competition heats up between aftermarket tuners adding twin turbo systems to the Huracan’s 5.2L V10 with times dropping into the 8’s and then in to the 7’s in the 1/4 mile.   So far the Huracans we’ve seen have had pretty big money invested into built motors and upgraded DCT transmissions to the tune of well over $100,000. The Huracan submission we just got in was built by @F_Performance and takes a different approach with just the addition of a twin turbo setup and tuning running on a stock motor and transmission Read More

Texas Streets – Black Jesus vs. TT Lamborghini

March 28th, 2016

After whipping BoostedGT (from the Street Outlaws television series), this Fox Body Mustang known as Black Jesus decided to ratchet the competition up to the next level. While it’s always good to keep pushing yourself in order to get better and faster, this step may be a little overkill. The new “kid” on the streets comes in the form of a 2,000hp twin-turbocharged Lamborghini (detuned to around 1,500hp for some street racing action). Black Jesus is making somewhere in the neighborhood of 970hp using a small block Ford engine (with a single turbocharger force feeding air into it) but this Read More

February 26th, 2016

The OB Prestige Auto Racing Team showed up at the drag strip and showed out by setting a new 1/4-mile world record (8.97-seconds @ 165.47 mph) for a Lamborghini Huracan. Just check out the time slip for yourself. This emerald green, all-wheel drive beauty rolls off the factory floor with some pretty impressive credentials but what Heffner Performance adds is nothing short of miraculous. They start by building the 5.2-liter V10 engine to the brink of being completely bullet poof, then add a twin turbo package and a MoTec engine controller. The 7-speed dual clutch automatic is then treated to Read More

Godzilla Takes Two Classes at Dallas Street Car Takeover

February 24th, 2016

Godzilla showed up at the Dallas Street Car Takeover and wreaked havoc in two-classes of racing action. While it wasn’t the giant mechanical monster that wrecked Tokyo, the results were no less catastrophic. Godzilla was manifest in the form of the familiar 1200hp T1 Nissan GT-R. By the time smoke cleared Lamborghinis, Supras, Cadillacs, Mustangs, and all other challengers were strewn about like so much rubbish (not really but you get the jest). With its all-wheel drivetrain, the GT-R demonstrated superior traction in winning the King of the Bakery (roll racing) crown and the 9.50 ET class. The team at Read More
