The Super Diesel Shootout, presented by Shell, features some of the most powerful diesel powered light-duty trucks on the planet. There is even a diesel powered top fuel dragster. The Overkill single-cab Chevrolet Silverado in this video not only made a 9.47-second pass @ 145.37 mph but also posted a high-water mark of 1,700-horsepower and 2,500 lb.-ft. of torque on the dyno – that’s right, 2,500.

The Las Vegas based Voodoo Racing Mustang dominated the street car class and put a spell on me during this month’s TX2K15 down in Houston, Texas. Hellcat e85 Conversion Increased Horsepower Reduced Emissions

Everyone knows that the 2015 Dodge Hellcat is built for speed and performance with a factory horsepower rating of 707 (at the crankshaft). What you may not know is this: Serious Horsepower (SHP) out of Houston, Texas, is in the business of making high-performance machines (such as the Hellcat) produce even more horsepower while running on cleaner e85 fuel. Viper TA vs Corvette C7 Z06 on the Dyno

Nine Ball Garage took a 2014 Dodge Viper TA and a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to KP Racing for some back to back dyno runs to see just how these two competitors perform on the dyno. Tesla Model S P85D Shocks the Dyno with 864 ft-lbs of Torque

2015 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 makes 760HP with minor modifications

LMR added some minor modifications to a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 which added over 110 horsepower to the wheels on their DynoJet.   The modifications included a different size supercharger pulley, American Racing 2″ headers, X-Pipe and a custom LMR ECU tune. In stock form the Z06 put down 559 horsepower and 543 ft-lbs of torque and after the modifications and tuning the results were impressive at 661 horsepower and 626 ft-lbs of torque.   Using a 14% drivetrain loss on the 7 speed manual transmission that puts this Z06 at 760HP. McLaren 650S vs MP4-12C on the Dyno

Fabspeed recently dyno tested the all new McLaren 650S before working on tuning the car for additional power.  The McLaren 650S is powered by a 3.8L V8 Twin Turbo engine producing 641 HP through a 7 speed DCT transmission. On the DynoJet the McLaren 650S put down 569 horsepower and 451 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels.  This is 52 horsepower more than the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C they tested on the same dyno earlier. Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Dyno Results

Editor: Rob Persiano   Evomsit recently put a new Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 on their Mustang AWD dyno for some baseline testing before they begin their ECU tuning process.  The Huracan is rated by Lamborghini at 610 horsepower with it’s 5.2L V10 along with a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. McLaren MP4-12C Fabspeed Motorsports Tune Testing
