September 25th, 2015

If you love street racing, then you’ve gotta see this video. It features an awesome sounding supercharged (centrifugal) Corvette in breakup camouflage. The Camo ‘Vette is equipped with a forged low compression motor with PRC cylinder heads and a ECS 1500 supercharger with a methanol injection. The transmission and rear differential have been upgraded, as well. Power is estimated at 800whp. We know the DriverMods Viper well. 7-Second SRT Ram Pickup

September 18th, 2015

How do you make a pickup fly? Try starting with an 8.4-liter V-10 Viper engine with a set of highly sought after Striker ultra-high-performance cylinder heads. Add twin Garrett GTX 88-millimeter turbochargers routed through a massive intercooler (with a methanol injection) and you have a Ram that packs quite a punch. So much so, in fact, that this video shows it making a pass of 7.97-seconds at 183 mph (1/4-mile). When you are making 1,900+hp no one seems to care about how you look but the great folks at JMB Performance and Powdercoat have built a beautiful truck, inside and Read More

Dodge Viper TA with 250 Shot of Nitrous on the Dyno

September 12th, 2015

Check out this Dodge Viper TA with a 250 shot of nitrous making some pulls on a DynoJet Dyno.   Before adding Nitrous the Viper already had some mild modifications (headers, exhaust, tune) and put down 623 horsepower and 589 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. After adding the Nitrous Outlet 250 shot the Viper put down 879 horsepower and 903 ft-lbs of torque, an impressive 256 horsepower pickup.  Since traction would be an obvious  issue, they added a set of CCW wheels with Mickey Thompason tires to keep the power down. A few races are already waiting for the Read More

Hellcat Slayer? Cadillac CTS-V Street Racer

September 7th, 2015

It’s street racing – south of the border style and we got a pair of bad-axs Cadillacs lining up against all comers. The first one is equipped with a 125 shot of nitrous, a camshaft upgrade, and a crank pulley upgrade. He says that he’s making somewhere in the “high sixes” (kinda’ tongue in cheek, if you ask me). He then proceeds to walk the dog on a 750hp Dodge Challenger Hellcat with an aftermarket driveshaft and an E85 tune. Both cars are supercharged from the factory. Next up is a pretty blue Corvette Z06 with a 250 shot of Read More

Airstrip Assault Supercar Showdown

August 11th, 2015

This skilled videographer has managed to capture some very competitive head-to-head roll racing on a closed airstrip. There are representations from many of the big exotic manufacturers – Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren. The domestic bad boys showed up, too. There are Dodge Vipers and Challengers, Chevrolet Camaros and Corvettes, Cadillac CTS-Vs, and a scarce few Ford Mustangs. The imports include some Nissan GT-Rs and Toyota Supras (it’s alright to assume they are turbocharged). There is even an old ice cream truck and a 700+hp Volkswagen Golf. These lucky competitors line up at one end of the airstrip and start Read More

Three-and-a-Half-Ton Ram 1500 Eats Sports Cars

August 7th, 2015

Nick Eklund’s 7,000-pound Ram 1500 pickup is dressed to kill, in a set of Hoosier drag slicks with four-doors and a 2-inch lowering kit. This monster is all about eating up the competition with a side of asphalt. As you can see in this clip, this Ram is quick out of the hole and it blasts through the trap. All of that power and torque comes from a 5.9-liter Cummins Turbo diesel with a stock block, a Hamilton camshaft, Manley pushrods, an Innovative Diesel Tune, and a Fire Funk S366 turbocharger mated to a Ryan Wilson 480 transmission and a Read More

World’s Fastest Hellcat Sedan?

August 6th, 2015

Our videographer documents this High Horse Performance (HHP) tuned 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat (in Redline Red) posting a 10.57 @ 130 mph in the 1/4-mile. To make matters worse on all of you Hellcat driving hard-tails, this grocery-getter is piloted down the 1320 by a pretty lady. Adding further insult to injury is the fact that this clip was taken on a 90+ degree day, adding validity to the claim that on a cooler day this pretty kitty will do even better. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI, comes right out of the crate producing 640hp. Read More

2,000HP Furious 7 Maximus Charger Exposed

July 16th, 2015

If you are a fan of the Fast and Furious Saga, then you don’t want to miss this video. It gives us an inside look at the Maximus 2000 Charger (featured in the final scene of Furious 7) as described by Tom Nelson, of Nelson Racing Engines (NRE). It is a handcrafted replica of a 1968 Dodge Charger – with a few new twists. For one, the body is 6-inches wider than a stock ’68 Charger so the 18-inch wide tires on the rear look like average street tires. The first thing you will notice is the paint job (or Read More

Drag Racing: 800HP AWD Jeep SRT8

July 14th, 2015

Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em – and by that I mean all four tires (at the same time). This late model Grand Cherokee lays the smack down on a twin turbocharged Cutlass, some bodacious sports cars, and several high-powered turbo diesel pickups, on his way to the finals and an overall victory. This “grocery-getter” is powered by a 6.4-liter (that’s 392-cubic-inches) HEMI with a Procharger bolted on. Total output is estimated at 800hp, but some of this guy’s opponents may argue that it is much higher. Despite the fact that it is equipped with street radials, this all-wheel-drive SUV Read More
