Wild Wild West – Arizona Street Racing

January 25th, 2017

Howdy pardner! You’ve heard about the shootout at the O.K. Corral. Well, there’s another fight brewing (out Arizona way) and it also looks to have all the makings of a real shootout. The wide lanes and flat contours of Phoenix (Mexico) make this a fantastic town for roll racing on the interstate. This video showcases an over-confident Neon owner, a pavement pounding Nissan GT-R, a high-powered pack of really impressive street bikes, and some of the baddest Cadillacs (Badilllacs?) on the planet. The action begins with a cocky Dodge Neon SRT-4 getting used by an 1,100hp GT-R. The dodge loses Read More

Street Racing Digs – Sedan Shoot Out

January 20th, 2017

Hello drag racing fans and aficionados! Welcome to this contest between two high performance sedans. Allow me to say that I love the posturing and smack talking at the front of this video. I don’t know how it is where you race but in my neck of the woods there has to be a little flexing (or playing possum in some cases) and jockeying for position before you split the light. It ain’t mean or evil. It is loud but it’s just guys (and gals) letting off steam. This contest features a couple of GM products engaged in dig racing Read More

Street Beast Shootout – 1400WHP Viper vs 1100WHP 240SX

January 5th, 2017

Mention the words “Viper”, “GT-R”, and “street racing” to me and you will have my undivided attention. This video has all of those things and a whole lot more. Let’s get this (roll racing) party started with a contest between a 1,400whp Dodge Viper and an 8-second Nissan GT-R. The Gen V Viper and the Nisan GT-R are two of the baddest production vehicles to ever roll off an assembly line. Obviously the Viper in the video has undergone some extensive modifications; including a turbo setup. The Snake handles Godzilla easily and moves on to the next victim. You may Read More

Interstate Assault – 3-Wide Roll Racing

December 3rd, 2016

Here we have a heavy dose of fast-paced roll racing action between some spirited competitors. To those of us who know what it feels like to bust our hump in a 50-hour-a-week gig and then pour our blood, sweat, and tears – not to mention our hard earned cash – into a car that we just want to go faster; there’s something magical about rolling down the highway under the cover of darkness knowing that our ride is running at peak efficiency. As the cool night air pours over my finely tuned V8, I know that miraculous things are about Read More

Chi-Town Heat – Roll Racing on the Street

September 6th, 2016

If there is one thing that they can do in Chi-town, it’s throw-down on the streets. Naturally, when we got a chance to check out what kind of roll racing Chicago (Mexico) has to offer; we loaded up our wagons and hit the dusty trail. To say the least, we were not disappointed. On hand was a 2016 BMW X5 M (yes, an SUV) powered by a 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8 with aftermarket bolt-ons and a software upgrade. It’s good for about 800whp. There’s a 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo that has a modified intercooler, exhaust headers, and high performance mufflers. Read More

East Coast Street Racing – Twelve Cars Race for $1200

August 16th, 2016

That’s right baby! This is an East Coast (of Mexico – of course) style, single elimination tournament with twelve drivers contributing $100 each – and the final round winner is driving away with all the cash. While $1200 may not seem like a bunch of money to you; there are some people (myself included) that consider that a pretty good night’s fun (it ain’t work). One of the best things about having a cash-pool is that the competitors have to exit their vehicles and come together for a brief period. This usually results in a lot of trash talking and Read More

Single Elimination Street Racing

June 27th, 2016

Take a gander at some old school, single elimination-style street racing, on a deserted 2-lane country road (the bales of hay were my only clue). The preliminary round features a Corvette and a first-generation Mustang. The potent Ford gets the hole-shot but can’t seem to get hooked up on the gear changes. The ‘Vette claims the victory and moves on. Next, we have a Cadillac CTS-V vs. a GenV Mustang. The Caddy pulls the Ford throughout and takes a first round win. Now, we’re on to a contest between a nitrous C6 Corvette and a nitrous Fox body Mustang – Read More

Street Racing – Mustang vs. CTS-V vs. Z06 Vette

June 16th, 2016

This is some top-tier street racing action between three domestic power houses. The Mustang has an awesome looking USMC paint scheme, an Aluminator Ford Racing engine, and a 76-millimeter CPR turbo kit. Hoo-Rah! This Ford is making 740whp on 93-octane fuel. The supercharged Caddy is making 630whp with a camshaft upgrade, a cold air intake, a crank pulley upgrade, and a methanol injection. Finally, we have the naturally-aspirated Chevrolet Corvette Z06 producing 600whp, the old fashioned way. The ‘Vette is also the camera car. Check it out – this is classic roll racing between three mean mothers. NOTE: We neither Read More

Corvette Z06 vs. Cadillac CTS-V

May 27th, 2016

This is street (roll) racing between a modified ‘Vette and a souped-up Cadillac. Times were, when you get your sports car modified to your liking and hit the streets for some roll racing action, the last thing that you would expect is for a sedan to give you a run for your money. Well, time passes and things change; today’s high-powered sedans are pretty potent from the factory and they are easily modified. Despite the fact that this race is between a top-tier sports coupe and a luxury sedan, it is one of the closest street contests that I have Read More
