California Cash Days – LA Street Rolls

This video takes the concept of Cash Days and applies it to a group of roll racers – then drops the whole thing into the crowded metropolis of Los Angeles.

This is set to be single elimination, controlled roll racing. Eight cars are involved with a $200 buy-in; winner take all but when law enforcement appears on the scene it is turned into a total cluster freak. Check it out.

First up is a Lamborghini Huracan with twin turbos rolling out against a Honda Civic with a giant (70-millimeter) turbocharger protruding through the hood and a massive intercooler busting through the lower air dam (I’m sure there’s a tiny engine between there, somewhere). The Lambo takes the close win.

Next, is a Nissan GT-R with a built engine and ported turbochargers taking on a C7 Corvette with a Procharger (making 91-psi of boost). In another very competitive contest, the GT-R gets the victory by a narrow margin.

The “Cloak’n’Dagger” Award goes to a Ford Mustang owner who says he’s running a Roush Stage 3 setup but won’t let anyone have a look. He’s paired with a Procharged Chrysler 300C. This should be an easy victory for a Roush Stage 3. The Mopar gaps the Mustang by a bus-length.

The final race of round one is between a heavy-Chevy Trailblazer with a 408 cubic-inch engine with a 76-millimeter turbocharger and a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with full bolt-ons (including a stretched out throttle body). The SUV takes the win.

With the stage set for round two, the law shows up and chaos ensues. Nevertheless, the 714 crew comes through and awards the cash to the champ.
