Bugatti Veyron Plays With BMW M3

March 6th, 2015

BugattiPeel your eyelids back and take a look at this 1200-hp Bugatti Veyron as it gives this late model BMW the hole shot, then comes back to garner a decisive victory in the eighth-mile. This one-sided affair takes place at an airstrip and features Dutch race driver Ho-Pin Tung in a BMW M3. Unfortunately for the Dutchman, the French made Bugatti was more than capable of giving the lead and then taking it away.

The BMW M3 (particularly this European version) can hold its own in most contests of speed, with a 415-horsepower 4.0-liter V8 and slick-shifting transmission (whether you choose the manual or M-DCT), against most street-legal combatants.

Obviously, the Bugatti is more “run-amuck” than “run-of-the-mill”. The Veyron is equipped with a 1200-horsepower 8.0-liter W10 engine with four-turbochargers, three-radiators, and three air-to-liquid intercoolers.
