Brown Sugar – Turbo LS Swapped Olds Cutlass

November 19th, 2019

Wanna see what ‘off the beaten path’ looks like? In this video it looks like a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (with a landau top). It sounds more like a Camaro or a Corvette. Could be the LS swap. Hmmm. Let’s have a closer look.

This G-Body has got a lot under the hood. It all begins with a built 6.0-liter LS (Chevy) engine. Internals include aftermarket racing pistons, connecting rods and valvetrain components. It also has a generic turbocharger (a big one) with an air-to-air intercooler (also huge). The combo is good for 1000hp. Shifting is handled via a powerglide transmission and the rear end is GM 12-bolt. It is sitting on a stock suspension with a custom anti-swaybar.

Without further ado, it’s time to put this bucket o’ bolts on the street. First trip? To the gas station. Where else.

Once the Olds is full of E85, it’s time for a rolling tune. Thank goodness for a full roll cage, racing buckets and four-point harnesses. After 10-minutes, the tune is perfect. This thing is LS Nasty!
