Alpha 1200 Audi R8 vs. 300HP Kawasaki Ninja H2 – Half-Mile Roll

October 1st, 2021

The venue is the Indy Airstrip Attack 2021. Looking for some action, Kyle (1320 Video) showed up in his AMS built 1300hp Audi R8 V10 Plus. Action is precisely what Kyle found. A stretched-out Ninja H2 was quick to take the bait and the two competitors agreed upon a roll race on this half-mile course.

The Audi R8 shares a platform with the Lamborghini Huracan. Both cars are powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine. AMS Performance added their Alpha 1200 twin turbo kit to Kyle’s car. After all the bells and whistles were bolted into place and the R8 was tuned, it irked out just over 1300hp on the dyno. This Audi is a very bad girl.

In the other lane, we have the Kawasaki Ninja H2. As the only supercharged production street bike, the stock H2 is synonymous with speed. Even my old eyes can see that this H2 is far from stock. The rear swing arm has been stretched and it has been tuned. The supercharger has also been ported to increase volume and a performance exhaust has been added. This crotch-rocket is capable of churning out approximately 300hp with a flick of the wrist. At a curb weight of 525-pounds, that’s a mountain of power!

Question is: Does the superbike have anything for the radically modified 1320 Audi?

The competitors are rolling up to the starting line. Let’s see who has what it takes to pull out the win.
