Talk about piling on the ponies; this Shelby GT500 has managed to get 945hp to the rear wheels! Greetings drag racing fans and welcome to a personal quest. Evolution Performance is on a mission to get their new Mustang into the nines. Should they be successful, they will write their name in the record books as the first to get a 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 through the 1320 in less than 10-seconds.

The engine is basically a stock bottom end and cylinder heads. The supercharger is a factory unit, but it has undergone a Kong Performance porting job. The blower pulley has been upgraded to a 2.65-inch ZPE Griptec. Fuel mods include a set of Injector Dynamics ID1300X injectors and a Fuelmax V2 Dual Fuel Pump voltage booster. It is also outfitted with a set of Kooks 1 7/8-inch long tube exhaust headers and it is Lund tuned using HP Tuners. The rubber is Mickey Thompson.

This video take us to Bradenton Motorsports Park as these guys work this car from the mid-tens into a World Record pass of 9.93-seconds @ 143 mph. Nice work.
