Black Mamba, an eight-second 2020 Mustang GT500 will take a stab at roll racing in this video. What better venue than the SlipStream at Pocono Raceway? Mamba will have plenty of competition on the track for this one.

First up is the Streetspeed 717 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. This blue bunny is equipped with a stock engine block (supercharged 6.2-liter) with a ported blower. Maximum output is being stated at 920whp (for today). This Chevy looks and runs great!

Mamba goes up against Streetspeed in the first race. These two guys have raced before, but Mamba has had some minor upgrades. The cars line up and – dang it! – the Ford throws the supercharger belt and ends Mamba’s day. Very anticlimactic ending.

Next up is the “Iconic” Mustang GT500 against this beast of a ZR1. This is a matchup between two of the most popular cars on the “gram”.

As the two competitors reach 60 mph, both drop the hammer and accelerate wildly towards the finish line. They are neck-and-neck throughout. Right at the end, one car pulls slightly ahead and wins by a bumper. Unbelievably, both cars finish with a top speed of 163.116 mph. Looks like they plan to back it up and rerun it. You certainly don’t want to miss this one.
