900HP MR2 Tames the Arizona Streets

900HP MR2 Tames the Arizona StreetsNow, get this! This Toyota MR2 (mid-engine setup) is equipped with a Honda drivetrain. That includes a K20 2.0-liter engine that has been fitted with dart racing sleeves, JE Pistons, Manley valve train components, a stock cylinder head (camshaft upgrade), and a 66-millimeter turbo making between 25 and 36-pounds of boost. The combination is capable of churning out over 900hp and it is shifted using a sequential transmission.

Right out of the gate, this Toyota dusts a 700hp Evo, then rubs up against a GXR1000 sportbike. The Suzuki ain’t having none of it and whips the MR2 handily. Then he gives a Kawasaki ZX14 all he can handle – for a little while – before running out of gears and backing off. This is an incredible car.
