700HP 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS – Track Testing

July 13th, 2017

This is a unique and well produced video that takes you inside the 2018 Porsche GT2 RS. You are sucked into the functional air intake, through one of the turbochargers, into the engine, and spit out the tailpipe. It’s awesome!

Porsche recently unveiled their most powerful and most expensive version of the GT2 RS during one of the most prestigious annual automotive gatherings in existence. In true Porsche style, the car was not simply put on static display but driven aggressively on a closed track.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed (Sussex, England) was treated to an awesome display of speed and handling when a professional driver took the ($295K) 2018 Porsche GT2 RS onto the track and proceeded to give it a thorough thrashing.

This car is radically improved throughout, including a 3.8-liter turbocharged flat-six engine that is capable of producing 700hp and 553 lb.-ft. of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 2.7-seconds and has a top speed of 211 mph.

Everything is upgraded over the previous version. It is lighter, faster, prettier, rides better, and handling is improved dramatically.

Check it out!
