August 29th, 2013

While the McLaren MP4-12C excels in just about everything it does performance wise, from running 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, finishing the 1/4 mile in 10.3 @ 135 MPH and being a monster on the road course it’s IRIS infotainment system has long been plagued with issues and not so happy McLaren customers.  The IRIS system was a $6,400 option on the MP4-12C and never lived up to it’s feature set as described by McLaren.  The touch interface was very hard to use when buttons were small and the system was slow and riddled with bugs, crashing and restarting frequently. Ferrari F12 vs Lamborghini Aventador Drag Racing Video

August 11th, 2013

We came across this video of a Ferrari F12 racing heads up against a Lamborghini Aventador at a private event at an airstirp.   The Ferrari F12 with it’s front engine V12 pushing out 730HP via rear wheel drive was no match for the Aventador’s mid-engine V12 with 700HP and all wheel drive.  Both cars were using launch control but the Aventador simply left the Ferrari for dead. We have to say, the Aventador is the epitome of a true super exotic in terms of performance and looks while the Ferrari F12 is comparatively quite lame.   Ferrari F12 vs Lamborghini Read More
