2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 on the Dyno
April 10th, 2010Inside line put a brand new 2011 Ford Mustang GT with the DOHC 5.0-liter V8 on a DynoJet 248 dyno. The new Mustang put down some impressive numbers making 395 horsepower and 365 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. Using a 13% driveline loss, this puts the new Mustang GT at just over 450 horsepower, well above the 414 horsepower published by Ford. A recent 1/4 mile drag racing of the new 2011 Mustang shows it dipping into the 12′s with a 12.801 @ 110.8 MPH.
