Dodge is reintroducing the storied 392 V8 engine for the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 with 6.4 liters. While the engine is rated at 470HP, Insideline put the new Challenger SRT8 on the dyno to see what it’s really making. The numbers look really good with an impressive 452HP and 443 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Using a 15% driveline loss, that puts this new Challenger at just over 530HP, well above it’s competitors, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro . We look forward to seeing what this new Challenger can do at the track!
