Most car reviews pick the Vette because it is : 1) Cheaper; 2) Similar performance; 3) Better ergonomics. The Viper on the other hand offers, a hell of a ride, super car like performance. a hand-made build approach, limited numbers, outrageous looks, V-10 and lots of power.

Some prefer the Vette’s handling performance but some say the Viper is a better track car. Some like the Vette’s handling assistance like traction control, other like the Viper’s lack of any assistance.

Personally, the Vette is trying to become like the Viper. It is GM’s thing these days. First they followed the SRT-4 with their Cobalt SS, then they copied the PT cruiser with the HHR, then the PT GT Turbo with the HHR SS Turbo and of course the Vette with a very similar Viper-like body especially the front end and the enlarged side vent.
