200 MPH Terminator Mustang – 130 MPH Burnouts

February 1st, 2018

How do you know for sure that your car is making power aplenty? How about when you get to 130 mph and completely break traction and go into a fishtail. That’s as good of an indication as any.

At the business end of this pony is a 2014 Shelby engine block with Darton sleeves. The cylinder heads have been upgraded with Ferrea valves and various high performance valve train components. A pair of Bullseye TCT 72-millimeter turbochargers cram serious air into the motor and a Holley Dominator EFI/Engine Management System see that the fuel gets to each cylinder at the right time. The transmission is a Powerglide backup unit.

After getting the boost turned down so that the 130 mph burnouts could be avoided, the “Ego Crusher” Mustang went on to post some 200 mph top speed passes. This is a great car and we expect more entertaining runs in the future.
