1973 Camaro Z28 Restomod – 700HP Supercharged Monster

July 2nd, 2021

Greetings gearheads and speed freaks from every walk of life – with a special focus on Camaro lovers. This video introduces us to one of the finest examples of Gen II Camaro stock on four wheels. This thing is both beauty and beast. Let’s join Sean from Autotopia as he gets into this build.

Of course, it all starts under the hood with a 6.2-liter GM LS3 engine topped with a Magnuson supercharger (9 psi of boost) and BRP long tube exhaust headers with Borla exhaust. The combination is good for approximately 700whp. The transmission is a Tremec TR6060 manual and the rear end is a Curry 9-inch (Ford).

The wheels are Rushforth (18 x 10.5 up front and 18 x 12 in the rear) and the brakes a Wilwood.

Suspension and steering upgrades include Speedtech suspension and adjustable coilovers on all four corners. In summary, this Z28 has everything it needs to look vintage and perform better than new.

The car is rotten with Anvil carbon-fiber components, and it looks amazing. The interior is also stunning with custom crafted leather seating, digital instrumentation and Vegas style lighting effects. Time for a test drive.
