180 MPH Street Race – GT-R vs CBR1000

180 MPH Street Race - GT-R vs CBR1000In a contest of speed between a motorcycle and a car, my first instinct is to say that the bike will win. This logic typically proves sound, particularly when the bike is a stretched Honda CBR1000RR. The Honda is capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5-seconds and can reach 100 mph in only 6.5-seconds, so what kind of car could touch it in a street race? Let’s take a look.

A car that is nick-named after a creature known to terrorize and destroy large cities must certainly be able to hold its own on the streets. The Nissan GT-R is considered a supercar in factory trim; with approximately 550hp and a ton of attitude. The gang at SprayItRacing (SiR) takes Godzilla and turns it into Godzilla on ‘Roids (over 1,000hp). If you like street racing, this video is a must see – even more so if you think a car can’t beat a bike.

NOTE: We neither condone nor encourage racing on public streets.
