An event that can undoubtedly be described as one of the most dangerous experiences in racing, the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb attracts some of the most sophisticated and capable machines in existence. The DuSold Designs Camaro, piloted by Tommy Boileau, is one such craft.

There was a time when vintage muscle cars were considered impractical for road racing. The theory was that these heavy hitters should be relegated to straight line endeavors. Not so these days. The invent of tubular chassis, aluminum alloy suspension members and heavy-duty brake kits allow these beautiful old cars to compete with late model racecraft.

The DuSold Camaro is a 1967 model equipped with an LS 427 cubic-inch V8 engine (Dart block) with a set of Brodix Racing cylinder heads. This twin turbocharged monster also features a pair of Precision 56-millimeter turbos. The (manual) transmission is a Tremec T-56.

Hang on to your hats friends, this is going to be a wild one.
