What rpm did u launch at and were u in 1st or 2nd gear to get your best time.

I launch in 1st gear at around 4500-5000 rpm. Nitto's don't spin and 60ft is usually around 1.9-1.95. Tires at 22 psi and drag bags 12 psi. A good 60ft makes a good ET! Good luck, Chad

Ron, thanks! No hop = no spin. simple as that. get wide sticky tires. That is FIRST. Air bags keep the tires from rubbing and help plant the tires too. get a shifter like my GMM. Dont let off the gas much when shifting. Keep RPM around 5500 during shifts. M6 syncs better and is tough enough to take it. get as light as possible like only a couple of gallons fuel etc...you'll get in the 12's. My dad is 70 and races his 05 GTO but he is auto so only mid 13's. My friends told me my first pass ever would never go below 13.5...ran 13.56, then in the 30's, then teens and finally got my 12...they were shocked. Good luck proving your brother wrong! Chad

Plagued with T-56 4th gear lock-out. Next run was a 13.10 from missing 4th. Best ET at Wichita (1200FT Est) with 80F and slight tail wind: 1.93 60ft, 13.26@103.7 again missing 4th. Best 60ft has been 1.85. Race weight: 3680 with 1/8 tank, trunk empty.
