Limited collection of 1964 to 1969 Oldsmobile Ads from magazines and brochures of the time. I can now see we left out at least three ads or pictures: a 66 442, an illustrated 69 Hurst Olds and a 69 Delta 88; however, time is limited here and we would have probably had to cut elsewhere. 1984 Olds Oldsmobile 98 Drag Race In Car View
This is me drag racing my 84 olds 98. I took the running 307 v8 out, and smacked in a 1979 350 from a delta 88. Richmond 3.73 open rear end (no posi, one wheel wonder, don't matter because the beast is so heavy). Cross member swapped to accommodate the rebuilt TH350 with shift kit. Nothing special, it only ran 15.69 in the quarter mile. Better than the 307 which would have ran about 18-22 seconds.

Rough Idle 94 olds 88 -- 3800 V6
Issues with my 94 Oldsmobile 88 with the 3800 motor: I NEED HELP!!!! -I can't figure out the rough idle. There is a slight shake felt through steering column. There's also a high and low rhythmic sound of the engine but it's not noticeable in video. -Bad gas mileage, sometimes there's a foul smell, burns a little coolant, Oil darkens fast. -Shakes sometimes when racing up a hill. -Engine shakes when flooring gas pedal as seen in video.

HARD HITTING ASHLAND COUNTY FAIR. I RAN A PREDEMO 76 OLDS 88 ( THE CAR WAS ALMOST MINT WHEN I STARTED TO STRIP HER DOWN TO SEE WHAT OLD DETROIT IRON CAN DO... STILL SPORTING A 60000 MILE 455 4BBL. WELDED AND LEAFED, READY TO RIP AND SHRED. I HAMMERD DOWN IN THE HEAT RACE AND WON IT HANDS DOWN... THIS WAS THE YEAR BEFORE I HANGED UP MY NECK BRACE BECOUSE OF MY KIDNEY PROBLEM.....
