Barolo red, stock
First pass it went 12.47@113.51mph on a 1.942 60 ft. This is on the stock Continentals (which suck) at 35-37psi. Leaving at idle, no preload against the foot brake. On this pass, I ran a C5 Z06 (one of the blue special edition cars). He treed me, but didn't do so well. I was waltzing away from him in the first 60 ft. and it just got worse.
Next pass I brought the tire pressure down a bit, and it was only 15-minutes later...so the car was still hot. I left too hard, and tripped the traction control. It went 12.60 @ 113.72 on a 2.049. Beat the same Z06 again after the driver missed a gear.
Then a pink Monte Carlo broke and drove through barriers at the end of the track and into the woods. One hour cleanup.
Last pass, I left easier against a '99-'01 Cobra with bolt-ons and DR's. He chased taillights and the big Benz went 12.402 @ 113.88 on a 1.931 short time. It spun again and tripped the traction control slightly. Temp on the last pass was still 82*. |
