Nice ride. but i'm concerned with your times. I have a 05 coupe, 5 speed, and when i had a CAI, SCT tune, delete plates, flowmasters, on OEM rims and tires, i ran a 13.4 at 104.7 mph but with a 2.2 60ft. with a 1.9 60ft like yours, i would be running a 13 or 12.98 in the quarter mile. i'm only pushing 293rwhp and 308rwtq. I would make sure your car is running at it's best, maybe a dyno tune to make sure. you should be in the 12's with a 1.9 60ft and a whipple SC. i plan on getting a whipple SC HO next year when i get back and can't wait. but agin, Nice ride!

(Claude)
Keep in mind the altitude here is 2200 ft above sea level. If you correct the time to sea level it's a 12.78 at 110 mph.

(Travis)
I see now that your in Canada, altitude will solve alot, sux you have to calculate it when you run but a 12.78 at 110 is sweet. nice car and nice run. Do you ever plan on intercooling it? i'm going to run mine on stock internals till something pops and then get a forged internals short block. How easy was the install?

(Claude)
Yeah I'll probably do the intercooler upgrade next summer. I had a the s/c installed by a Ford/SVT dealer for warranty reasons but I will do the intercooler install myself. I think I'll run the 8 lbs pulley instead of the 10 but we'll see. I'm pretty sure that with a little more practice at the track I'll get it into the 12's by the fall.

Awsome car bro. It looks absolutely great. I own a silver 2004 cobra but agonized between getting that and a 2006 silver mustang gt since they are almost the exact same price. The only reason I chose the cobra was my need for speed. If i would have gotten the 06, I would have set mine up exactly like yours with the louvers and wheels it looks sweet. Now you just need to put some window tint on that bad boy. Why did you go with whipple instead of kenne bell. I am just curious to know your thought process. I am going to upgrade my stock eaton supercharger to either a kenne bell or a whipple and I like to know why people who own one or the other chose the one they did and how it has worked for them. Let me know. Awsome ride, can't wait to see it in the 12's at altitude.

Hey Thanks for the comments. I choose the Whipple because it is a very complete kit and still gave me drivetrain warranty when installed by the dealer.Plus it was kind of an impulse buy and the dealer had one on the shelf, no waiting. I've been pretty happy with it aside from a glitch with a bad idler pulley and I'm not 100% happy the FRPP?Whipple tune(I get a little preignition bellow 3000rpm. The KB s/c is also a very good product.
