Are you running stock axles in the back? I have an 03' cobra and I'm afraid of braking an axle with too much traction. Great run.

Yes I have the stock half shafts. Wheel Hop Kills the Half Shafts. I run MT ET Streets at 14 PSI with no issue's or wheel hop.

any mods to the diff or frame to stiffen it to prevent wheel hop. Like Steeda makes a anti wheel hop kit. Thanks for the info.

I have the Billet Flow IRS Diff Brace. Every bushing is Stock. Tires are the key. MT ET Streets will not hop ever. I do not recommend drag radials at the track.

hey brother when you say go to your url in your profile to talk performace do you mean www.highperformancestangs.com I own a 2004 cobra and have done cat back exhaust, CCI, computer chip, shifter, pulleys,TB, 101 octane fuel, and a ported blower. I am getting 515rwhp and 540rwtq. I now want to upgrade my supercharger and have narrowed it down to either a Kenne bell or a Whipple. I am glad I saw your post because you are the first person I have found that went with the Whipple. I was wondering what was your reasoning for going with Whipple instead of KB. Are you happy with Whipple. How much rwhp do you think I will be able to add by upgrading my supercharger to the Whipple or KB? I do not know very much when it comes to the mods for our cars, I would really appreciate any information you would be willing to share with me. Thank you for your time.

Good times Jeff. I just found a 04 in Harrisburg Pa on e-bey with only 4100 mi on it. It has the mostly the same options and hp as mk028. I spoke with Bob at Steigemeier on 12/29 about which sc to move up to and he likes the Whipple more than the kb. Also Whipple just came out with a w210ax that is bad to the bone. Tim

Yes those are stock halfshafts. The key is using a bias ply tire.
