hey..low 15's! without any real mods>>? the PI intake means like what...a K/N cone filter or somekind of cold air unit. I hae same car, mine seams somewhat faster with this hugh K/N cone filter with heat shield. But I imagine mine may dip into 15's...you are down ion low 15.s thats great for just a performance air filter (I use high grade fuel) i bet if you put 3.73's on that rear, youd surely run in mid 14's! gears are the most effective way to go faster! cuts out 1/2 second often...let me hear from ya one time--

Ive thought about gears, but I dont have the time or money. The PI intake is actually the upgraded INTAKE MANIFOLD that ford uses on the 2001 and newer Crown Vics and 1999 and newer Mustangs, it isnt a filter. Im puttin cams in this season so I may see 14s.

so this time is with stock heads? im in the middle of swapping pi heads, intake, but im thinking of aftermarket cams in a 98 cv

Since the 96 stangs have the same engine as the p71 do you think that you could use the aftermarket intakes and filter off of the mustangs and any suggestions on how to make it quicker

I find it hard to believe that your car ran a 14.9 with just PI cams & intake swap & underdrives. Was this just one freak run? I mean aeros run high 16's stock, so you would need way more mods to break 14's.
