I saw you have a couple of times listed on this website. Was the only difference between this 8.867 and your 8.996 the DA (141 vs 1300)? Were mods the same for each run. I am trying to figure out how much a change in DA alone affects time, approximately. Thanks Erik

(silvrram)
If you talking about the 8.996 I did in the 1/8.. in the 1/4 in early Nov. on that run I was running on a borrowed set of 17\

Appreciate the response. Do you remember if the 17s were P245, P265, or P275? Thanks, Erik

(silvrram)
well that go truncated, let me try again. If you talking about the 8.996 I did in the 1/8.. in the 1/4 in early Nov. on that run I was running on a borrowed set of 17in wheels front and back, M&H drag radials on the rear. not sure of the size but about 28in tall, and a good 30lbs lighter per tire/wheel combo On the 8.86 run I was on the 20's 32in tall street tires I normally run on but I'd added a psc1 tuner to improve my wot AF ratio a little. Between the improved AF and lucking into some good traction got it to approx break even running the street tires. 8.996 at 1300 corrects to 8.87 8.867 at 141 corrects to 8.85 So approx 0.12 of that real time improvement was the better air (least in theory) my corrected time was .02 faster but I was running a much slower tire set up so I seeing maybe .20 gain from the psc1 tuner To calc your DA and corrected times: check get your current or historical weather data at wundergound.com then use this DA calculator. www.modulardepot.com/density.php
