Bogus Basin hill climb 2008

MOPARS in Waco, TX 1992
This video, taken in 1992, shows the madness that ensued on Valley Mills Drive in Waco, TX during the Waco Mini Nationals that came to town each summer. At night, the MOPARS would take over Waco Dodge and a free-for-all burn out contest happened on the street. Dangerous? You bet! Fun? Absolutely. Shut down by the police? Yeah, that too. It was how I misspent part of my youth with the HOT MOPAR club. Submitter was driving that blue 1979 Cordoba.
Shot on Hi-8 and edited tape-to-tape on U-Matic. I found this VHS copy during a move. It is almost in good shape.

Cordoba engine build
This is my 1982 Chrysler Cordoba.
Had the engine built this summer (2008)
It's a 360 with 430 Horse.Its balanced with raceing pistons,30 Thou over.Roller Rockers and Edelbrock Preformer aluminum 2.02 Heads and performer RPM Auluminum intake and it's toped off with a Holley 750 cfm carb with vacum secondaries.
It's got 3.55-1 sure grip dif.and a 3 speed BM 727 Tranny. It also has Viscera 506 17" Wheels and Toyo Rubber.
